Over 30 years after Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock co-starred in the classic action movie Speed, the duo are set to team up on another sure-to-be blockbuster…and fans can’t wait.
Reeves and Bullock, both 60, are reuniting to star in an as-yet-untitled romantic thriller currently in development at Amazon MGM Studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project also includes another Speed alum: Producer Mark Gordon, who brought the idea to Reeves and Bullock (along with screenwriter Noah Oppenheim, known for penning the 2016 Jackie Kennedy Onasis biopic Jackie and co-creating the Netflix series Zero Day).
For now, plot details are still under wraps, but the story has reportedly been called “propulsive.”

Fans were quick to express their enthusiasm for the project on X.

“Must be interesting for them to have had such successful careers since speed and being able to work together again basically 30 years later,” someone else pointed out.
The upcoming thriller won’t be the first time Bullock and Reeves have worked together since Speed, however; the pair also co-starred in the 2006 romantic drama The Lake House.
