Katy Perry had one special guest during her Adelaide, Australia, show on Thursday, June 26!
Keegan Powers, 12, lived out a huge wish of his when he joined the pop star on stage during her most recent show.
Glam Adelaide shared a video of Powers with Perry, 40, as he told the crowd that dancing with the superstar is one of his life goals.
After Perry brought him on stage, she said, “Tell everybody who you are! You’re a star!”
“Thank you,” Powers replied. “I have been dreaming of this moment since literally the day I got tickets, and I have so many people that can prove that. And I’ve been messaging Katy on Instagram since Oct. 1 of last year. I love Katy Perry!”
She then asked him about his viral moment, saying he dreamed of dancing on stage with her. “Yeah, of course I wanted to come on stage to dance,” Keegan said.
“You better show me what’s up,” Perry said. “Come on, let’s go, Keegan.”
“You gotta sing first, baby girl,” he said while strutting on the stage, which was met by an uproar of applause and screams from the audience. “Can I use the stage?” he politely asked, and Perry simply said, “Yeah, you can use the stage. Keegan, this is your moment.”

Perry then suggested he dance to her 2017 single, “Swish Swish.” Keegan obliged and then made the stage his personal dance floor, showing off his best dance moves and even doing a couple of front aerials, back handsprings and splits.
After completing his routine, Perry, who was trailing behind him singing the song, went to her knees and bowed in front of him. She then handed him the microphone, and he said, “Wig” — seemingly referencing Perry’s viral moment on American Idol.
“Adelaide, I feel like you have a star on your hands,” she told the crowd, as Keegan waved to his new fans. “Make some noise for this incredible young man,” she then asked what his dream is in life. And he said, “I wanna go on tour. I really do. I want to sell out arenas and stadiums like this. And I just want to dance.”
Keegan’s mother commented on the Instagram post, writing, “This is my son and what a amazing lady Katy Perry is for making his dream come true absolutely incredible moment for him and us as a family proud❤️❤️.”

Keegan went viral in March for shocking audiences with his stellar dance moves at Dua Lipa’s concert in Melbourne. After the footage of him dancing before the singer’s show started, he and his father, Kieran Powers, were featured on the local news station, The Project.
During that interview, Keegan revealed it was his life goal to dance with Perry, saying, “I would really, really, really love to dance with Katy Perry on stage.”
His father also commented on Keegan’s lifelong confidence. “He’s always been this confident. Probably ever since he could walk and talk, he’s just up dancing and screaming and he just never stops.”
