Katie Holmes switched up her signature long locks for her role in the second season of the Peacock series, Poker Face.

Hello! magazine reported that Holmes looked quite different in her role of Greta Finch, who works at a funeral home with her husband, Frank Finch (Giancarlo Esposito). While playing Greta, Holmes rocked a dark wavy bob with bangs.

According to Hello! magazine, Holmes discussed her Poker Face role while speaking to Elle in March 2025 at Paris Fashion Week.

“I play a woman named Greta, who’s married to [a man named] Frank. Frank owns a funeral home and Greta wants a bigger life than she has, and she becomes friends with [Natasha’s character] Charlie. That’s the setup,” said Holmes to Elle.

Holmes also said she enjoyed working with the show’s star, Natasha Lyonne, who plays Charlie Cale.

“I think she’s the best. She’s incredible,” said Holmes.

Lyonne opened up about working on the second season of Poker Face during a May 2025 interview on the TODAY show. She noted that not only does she act in the series, but she has also directed a few episodes.

“It’s very fun to do it. I feel very alive when it’s happening,” said Lyonne during the interview.

She also said she enjoys the collaborative nature of the Peacock series, created by Rian Johnson.

“I love that it’s a community. I really love working with all the department heads and making it a collaboration. It’s a collaborative art form. It’s so fun and alive,” said Lyonne.

In addition, Lyonne referenced that the series is known for having several guest stars, including Holmes, John Mulaney, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Lyonne confirmed that she has gotten starstruck when interacting with some of the show’s guest stars, particularly Nick Nolte.

“I get starstruck by Mulaney. And I know the guy all too well,” quipped Lyonne on the TODAY show.
