Katharine McPhee is stirring up debate with a recent social media confession.
In a new Instagram video posted on Thursday, May 22, the singer and actress hopped on the viral trend of naming “propaganda,” or currently popular phenomena, that she is “not falling for”—and many fans wholeheartedly disagree with one of her hot takes.

In the post, McPhee, 41, said she is “not falling for” common trends like Stanley cups, Labubu toys, and expensive lattes. But it was her disdain for 3-hour-long concerts that had some of her followers up in arms.

“OK but what’s wrong with three hour long concerts?” one commenter on the post wanted to know, while another user said, “For the price of concert tickets they better be 3 hours.”
Another follower said 3-hour concerts might not be worth it “unless it’s the Eras tour,” referring to Taylor Swift‘s record-breaking tour that famously lasted 3 1/2 hours.
Others also mentioned Beyoncé‘s concerts, with one person saying the 3-hour performance from the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer was “epic.”
“You’re missing out,” that same user wrote to McPhee.
“I was sooo there for Beyoncé in Chicago from 10 pm – 1 am following the rain delay! And it was phenomenal. What a gift,” someone else added.
“I think if you have enough hits for a 3 hour concert, go for it 🤷🏽♀️” another user chimed in.
