Kate Middleton and Prince William are celebrating 14 years of marriage, and their wedding venue is joining in the festivities!
Fourteen years after hosting the royal wedding of the future Prince and Princess of Wales on April 29, 2011, Westminster Abbey marked the anniversary by sharing a throwback video of the big day. The clip showed the bride and groom exiting the church hand-in-hand, followed by their young bridal party. Their siblings, Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton, also trailed close behind, with Pippa in charge of her elder sister’s dress train.
As the bells of the abbey rang, a horse-drawn carriage is seen pulling up so the newlyweds could take a ride through the streets of London and greet well-wishers.
The couple wed in front of 1,900 guests, while thousands more lined the city’s streets and millions watched the nuptials on TV.

After the ceremony, William and Kate appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and shared two kisses, both met with enormous cheers from well-wishers gathered below.
The wedding was followed by two receptions, the first hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace. Their second was a more intimate gathering of 300 thrown by King Charles and went until 3 a.m.
“William and Kate were in the middle, giving it their all,” one guest told PEOPLE. “They really went for it. They were in the full party spirit and stayed until the last minute.”

Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 43, have often marked their anniversary with a photo on social media, sometimes opting for a throwback image from their big day and other times sharing a more recent snap. Last year, they released a previously unseen picture from their wedding day, a black-and-white portrait by photographer Millie Pilkington showing the bride and groom smiling together.
The couple spent their 14th wedding anniversary in Scotland, the nation where they first met as college students at the University of St. Andrews.
The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, as they are called in Scotland, are set to visit Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, the fourth largest island in Scotland. They are set to make stops at a community hub and an artisan market.
Later in the day, William and Kate will visit a local croft to learn about sustainable farming and hospitality on the island.

Their trip to Scotland will continue on April 30 when they head to an ancient woodland to meet the Mull and Iona Ranger Service, which plays a vital role in conservation, biodiversity protection and education on the islands. They joined a local school group as they take part in some outdoor learning.
Prince William and Princess Kate’s Scotland visit marks their first joint engagement in several weeks. The couple reduced their royal work during their kids’ school break ahead of Easter, spending the time together as a family.
Although they have previously joined the royal family’s Easter church gathering at Windsor Castle, this year, they spent the holiday in Norfolk with Princess Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
