Kate Hudson’s son got a little emotional after receiving a sweet present.
On Wednesday, May 7, the Running Point star shared a video on her Instagram, showing her son Bingham “Bing,” 13, getting emotional after the two received hoodies from their local grocery store, Paliskates, which burned down during the Los Angeles fires.
“Oh, isn’t that sweet?” Hudson says.
“There’s no way they sent me stuff,” says Bingham as he opens the gift, revealing a few hoodies and getting a little emotional as he holds one up.
“Our neighborhood store was lost in the fires. We have been a long Paliskate family forever and we want to help support them bring the shop back,” Hudson explains.

“One of our favorite neighborhood stores @paliskates burned down in the Palisades fire. These new hoodies are raising money to help them rebuild ❤️🩹 We love you Paliskates!!!” the actress and mom of three wrote in her caption.
Hudson is mom to sons Ryder, 21, and Bingham and daughter Rani, 6.
Back in March, Hudson spoke with Kylie Kelce on her Not Gonna Lie podcast about all things parenting, from raising her family in the spotlight to “humbling” experiences she has with her three kids. Hudson shared that her children are “very clued into the things” she’s doing, especially when it comes to her fashion choices.
“I think also as a mom, [kids are] just very much clued into the things that you’re doing,” she began. “Like, it could be very see-through and they’re like, ‘No, mom, that’s gross. Like, what are you doing?’ You know? Or it could be like I’m wearing a dark lip and whatever. It’s just like there’s a lot of focus.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Hudson was asked how she protects her three kids from the attention of being in the Hollywood spotlight.
“There’s two ways to go,” Hudson began. “If you’re someone who’s like, really wants to keep things private private, you know, I think you just make that very clear to whoever it is, whether it be press or whether it be you taking a picture with a fan.”
“It’s like when you’re with your kids, it’s just, ‘I’m with my kids, and I really don’t do that when I’m with my kids,'” she continued. “I mean, that’s kind of what I grew up with. When we would go out to dinner and stuff, that was just my parents’ thing.”
