Few fashion It girls love boho chic quite as much as Kate Hudson. Flowy maxi skirts, ruffled blouses, Penny Lane-inspired coats, string bikinis, fringe dresses —she’s embraced every boho trend going. And her latest look is no exception. Attending the 11th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, the actress donned an ethereal off-the-shoulder maxi gown with boho balloon sleeves and a belted waist by Elie Saab Couture. The dress was made of a delicate sheer material covered in rows of glistening golden sequins.

Hudson paired the sparkly dress with a stack of dangly silver earrings by Effy Jewelry and metallic heels. She wore her hair swept back from her face and sported a smokey glam makeup look.

Hudson attended the event with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, who wore a black suit and matching shirt. The pair shared a sweet kiss on the red carpet. Although they got engaged in 2021, but Hudson is in no rush to tie the knot. In fact, she recently told Drew Barrymore that she wouldn’t mind being “engaged forever,” adding that the “contractual” aspect of marriage is “tough for me.”

Hudson stars in the new Netflix show, Running Point, as Isla Gordon, an one-time party girl who finds herself the unlikely successor of her family’s pro basketball team. As Isla, Hudson trades in her boho wardrobe for an array of chic, sleek power suits. “We really wanted Isla to be powerful,” costume designer Salvador Pérez told Netflix’s Tudum, “but we never hid her femininity. We didn’t do man-powered suits.”
