Former TLC star Kate Gosselin was unrecognizable in a new video 18 years after Jon & Kate Plus 8 premiered.
On Friday, Aug. 8, the mom of a set of quintuplets and a set of twins took to Instagram with a clip of herself preparing a protein shake at home in her kitchen.

“Time for a protein shake! #kateplus8#proteinshake,” Gosselin, 50, captioned her update.
In the video, the nurse explained, “A lot of you have asked me what I am doing for fitness and health and wellness, this is one of the things. Almost every day, I make a protein shake—and I know everyone does them differently—but this is what I do.”
Gosselin then demonstrated the recipe, which included protein powder, peanut butter powder, a banana, Vitamin D, a scoop of greens, flaxseed, milk and ice.
Those who tuned into Jon & Kate Plus 8 likely had to do a double-take, as Gosselin’s hair was much longer and her makeup was minimal. See what she looks like now!

Recently, Kate shared a rare update on her and ex-husband Jon Gosselin‘s quintuplets, now 21. Their twins, Mady and Cara, are 24.
