Karlie Kloss’s baby bump was the main character of her outfit as the glowing model made an appearance at the 2025 Met Gala. Marking her first red carpet appearance since announcing she was pregnant with her third child with husband Josh Kushner on March 17, Kloss put a dramatic spin on maternity wear as she highlighted her baby bump in a plunging black dress that dipped down to her ribs.
Taking inspiration from the Met Gala’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, the Victoria’s Secret alum reinvented the LBD in a long-sleeved Victorian-style gown with a 3D collar, a deep v neckline, and a body-con bodice that featured a row of buttons running all the way down to her skirt. Cradling her baby bump as she posed for photos, Kloss gave the cameras a better look at her dramatic pleated skirt, which flashed some leg with a thigh-high slit. In contrast to her top’s structured fit, her silky skirt wafted around her with a dramatic train that trailed several feet away from her on all sides.

Kloss paired her Met Gala dress with sultry, thigh-high crocodile leather boots, which could be seen peeping out from underneath her skirt. Diamond huggie earrings and a half-moon diamond snake necklace finished off her red carpet look. She wore her light brown hair down in a center-parted wavy style, and accentuated her featured with ink black eyeliner and a rose-colored lipstick.

The Kode with Karlie founder, who also shares sons Levi Joseph and Elijah Jude with Kushner, announced that she’s expecting her third child during a March 17 interview with Vogue. She told the publication that she and her husband are “incredibly grateful” for their arrival,” explaining, “family is everything to me.”

It’s fitting that she debuted her baby bump at the biggest night in fashion, as Kloss previously revealed that she was pregnant with Elijah at the 2023 Met Gala. For her surprise reveal, the star wore a body-con long-sleeved black dress from Loewe paired with a multi-strand pearl necklace, a matching belt, and a black bow in her hair as a sartorial nod to Karl Lagerfeld.
