Cindy Crawford and her mini-me, Kaia Gerber, just stepped out for a rare joint appearance—and they are looking more alike than ever. The pair was joined by Randy Gerber, Crawford’s husband and Kaia’s dad, for the premiere of Good Night and Good Luck at the Winter Garden Theater on Broadway in New York City on April 3. Both mother and daughter opted for chic, sleek LBDs for the occasion.
Kaia leant into the ’90s nostalgia, wearing a square-neck maxi slip dress that could easily have been pulled from her mother’s closet. She completed the look with a gold Omega watch, a pair of classic black pumps, and a black envelope clutch. She wore her hair down in tousled waves and rocked a subtle, bronzey makeup look.
Meanwhile, Crawford also opted for a slinky black dress. Hers was a little edgier, with its single shoulder and sleeve, asymmetrical slash cut-out on the chest, and thigh-high slit. Like her daughter, Crawford wore a gold watch, carried a black clutch, and wore her hair down and loose.
Randy Gerber evidently got the all-black memo, and also wore a classic black suit.

This isn’t the first time the pair has coordinated on the red carpet. Last July, for instance, the pair joined forces for an event at the Paris Olympics and, once again, rocked a pair of LBDs.
This is also not the first time that Kaia has shown her appreciation of her mom’s minimalist ’90s style. Last September, she recreated her mother’s 1993 Oscars look, wearing the same (or at least a very similar) white dress and voluminous hair style while attending a premiere at TIFF. In November, she also recreated one of her mom’s curly updos while filming Palm Royale.

Over the years, Kaia has developed a real appreciation for her mother’s modeling work. However, it wasn’t until 2023 when she saw the documentary The Supermodels that she really understood just how iconic her mother was. “I was starstruck in front of her after,” Gerber said to WSJ last year. “I was like, ‘I didn’t realize. I knew you were iconic, but …’ I didn’t understand when I was younger. What she made of her career, there wasn’t really someone’s footsteps to follow. And I thought it was so cool that she always had that ambition, and she did things where people told her, ‘This will ruin your career. Don’t do this.’ And she trusted her instincts.”
