Justin Bieber Sparks Outrage Smoking A Joint Next To Teen Brother

The 30-year-old “Baby” singer was caught on camera at Coachella 2025 puffing on what appeared to be a blunt while partying with friends, and his 15-year-old brother Jaxon Bieber was standing right next to him.

In the viral clip, which is circulating on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Bieber can be seen dancing and taking hits off a blunt in a crowd. But things took a turn when his wife, Hailey Bieber, swooped in to de-escalate the situation. The model placed her hands on Jaxon’s shoulders and subtly steered him away from the smoke-filled scene.

The teen quietly followed his sister-in-law’s cue, but the internet wasn’t so quiet.

“This is so scary,” one user wrote, while another slammed the moment as “embarrassing.”

Others came to the pop star’s defense, writing, “He’s enjoying himself,” and “It’s just a blunt.”

Still, the clip adds to a growing list of concerning incidents involving the Grammy winner.

Back in February, Bieber made headlines for his odd behavior at Hailey’s Rhode Skin pop-up event, and he’s previously been spotted lighting up with comedian Dave Chappelle.

From rapping about getting high to posting pics of himself hitting a bong, fans have been raising eyebrows for months. But Justin’s team has been quick to shut down the chatter.

His rep previously told TMZthat the constant speculation was “exhausting and pitiful” and accused critics of “keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

The same rep also denied rumors of marital struggles between the singer and Hailey, who tied the knot in 2018.

When The Hollywood Reporter ran a story quoting sources who claimed Justin was “lost,” the rep clapped back, calling the piece “clickbait stupidity.”

Despite the drama, fans recently declared Bieber “happier than ever” after he posted a video kissing rapper Sexyy Red on the cheek at her birthday bash, an appearance Hailey backed with a trio of heart-eye emojis.

The couple, who welcomed son Jack seven months ago, seemed to be celebrating Easter separately this year. Hailey shared adorable snaps with the baby, but Justin was noticeably absent from the photos.

“I was always told when I was a kid not to hate. But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it, and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it,” he wrote in the March 16 post. “Which made me feel like I have been drowning, feeling unsafe to acknowledge it. I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there. How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”

The 31-year-old pop star was already under fire after a video showed Bieber at an exclusive Coachella after party dubbed Friday Nights in the Desert, hunching over and nodding to his own 2015 hit, “What Do You Mean?” looking anything but carefree.

“This is so scary,” one viewer commented.

“He needs better friends by his side,” another social media user said.

As The Blast previously reported, those close to Bieber are sounding the alarm. Sources claim the pop star is “facing a lot of different demons” and making “really poor decisions” that are damaging his friendships, finances, and professional relationships.

“He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business,” a source told People Magazine. “People are worried about him.”
