Julianne Hough Lists Hollywood Hills Home She Shared with Ex Brooks Laich for $8 Million: See Inside

Julianne Hough is saying goodbye to her home in the Hollywood Hills.

The 36-year-old actress and dancer listed the expansive three-bedroom, four-bathroom, 3,000 sq. ft. property for $7.95 on April 25. Brandon Piller and Joey Ben-Zvi of The Agency hold the listing.

A swimming pool and lush gardens with terraces create a welcoming view on the exterior. Designed by celebrity favorite designer Jake Arnold (who has also worked with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend), the interior is bright and cozy with plenty of connection to the outdoors.

Hough’s primary suite is described in the listing as a “sanctuary” with a luxurious bathroom and private patio.

The Dancing with the Stars host discussed working with Arnold on the property in 2016.

“My life is instant. I’m always on the go, and I travel a lot,” Hough told Better Homes and Gardens. “So to balance it all, I’ve created a safe, special place where I feel like my true self.”

At the time, she also mentioned her love for “pops of color,” saying, “They symbolize pure joy.”

Hough lived in the home with her ex-husband Brooks Laich. She and the NHL player tied the knot in 2017; however, they split in 2020 and finalized their divorce in 2022.

A few months later, she moved on with a new home in New York City. She reflected on the move and showcased her still-empty property with posts on social media at the time.

“When you still don’t have furniture,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories. “This spot on the floor has been where I eat my breakfast, listen to music, and drink my own wine out of my one coffee mug.”

She continued, writing, “When I contemplate this next chapter of life, and how things are so different than they were before. ‘New Beginnings’ was a phrase I heard a lot yesterday with some new friends that welcomed me into their home for Easter.”

“When I truly think about it all…I have everything I need in this empty house 🥰” Hough concluded.

News that Hough is selling the Hollywood Hills property comes a few months after she and Laich had a sweet interaction on social media. When the retired hockey player announced that he was engaged to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir, she left the couple a kind message.

“I’m so happy for you both as you step into this beautiful new chapter together. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures! ❤️✨,” she wrote, prompting Laich to respond, “Thank you for the kinds words, much love Jules!”

In 2020, Hough surprised her mom by purchasing her a home for Mother’s Day.

“This is yours, Mom,” she said when she made the big reveal, which was captured on camera for Instagram. “My Mother has given given given….. its now her time to receive,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
