Rock icon Jon Bon Jovi honored the late Ozzy Osbourne with a touching tribute.
After it was announced that Ozzy died on July 22, Bon Jovi took to his Instagram account to share two throwback pictures of him posing with the Black Sabbath singer. In the first image, both singers sported shag haircuts. Ozzy wore a black shirt tucked into light-wash jeans and a grey blazer. He accessorized the look with numerous necklaces, a ring, a bracelet, and black loafers. Meanwhile, a smiling Bon Jovi sported a fringed tan jacket, what appears to be a black vest, distressed jeans, and sunglasses. The following slide was a more recent photo, showing Ozzy wearing his signature purple sunglasses and standing close to Bon Jovi.
In the caption of the post, Bon Jovi shared well-wishes to Ozzy’s wife of over 40 years, Sharon Osbourne, and his children, Kelly Osbourne, Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, Jessica Osbourne, Louis Osbourne, and Elliot Kingsley.
“Much luv to Sharon and the beautiful Osbourne Family So sorry to hear of your loss. Rest easy Ozzy..” read the caption of the post.
Several fans flocked to the post’s comments section to share that they appreciated Bon Jovi’s message.
“Too powerful… Two legends together. RIP, Ozzy,” wrote a commenter.

“Our love and prayers are with his family and fans. RIP, Ozzy,” shared a different person.
“His music will live forever. RIP Ozzy,” commented a fan.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Ozzy died at the age of 76. According to the publication, the Osbourne family released a statement confirming the metal icon’s death.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,” read the July 22 statement.
According to the publication, Ozzy was open about his health issues and revealed he had Parkinson’s disease in 2020.
