Jon Bon Jovi shared a sweet throwback pic in honor of his wedding anniversary with wife Dorothea, and fans couldn’t get enough of the adorable couple.
The 63-year-old Bon Jovi frontman took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 29, to celebrate his 36th wedding anniversary with a series of photos and a romantic message.

“36 roses for 36 amazing years,” he captioned an image of long-stemmed red roses in a vase, adding, “Happy anniversary my love.”
The second photo in the carousel — taken on the couple’s wedding day — featured a young Jon with his trademark long hair wearing a blue suit (with the jacket slung over one shoulder to show off his bicep tattoo). Dorothea, now 62, stood in front of her new husband wearing a strapless white dress with long white lace gloves.
The third and final photo in Jon’s post showed the sign for the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas where he exchanged vows with Dorothea. “The original world famous home of ceremonies with the ‘king.’ Rock star Bon Jovi was married here,” the sign read.

Jon’s fans were quick to send the husband and wife their best wishes in the comments.
“I love this couple! Happy anniversary 👏👏👏,” wrote one person.
“Happy Anniversary!! May your day be filled with love, and may you enjoy another 36 springs together!! 🌹❤️” gushed someone else, with another Instagram user adding, “Beautiful couple, happy anniversary!! ❤️🎉”
In a 2024 interview with Michael Strahan for ABC News, Jon opened up about his decades-long marriage to Dorothea, admitting he wasn’t always the most faithful spouse.
“I got away with murder. I’ll say it again on camera. I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star. I’m not a saint. I’m not saying there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi; it was pretty good,” he said.
“But if you thought I was ever going to jeopardize my anything for believing the narcissist in me was real, what a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need that’s gonna fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it. Not worth it,” he continued, adding, “There is no doubt in my mind that this world revolves because of her, because of what she did to keep the kids right, what she does to keep me right, what we do together to keep it right.”
Jon and Dorothea share four children together: daughter Stephanie, 31, and sons Jesse, 30, Jake, 22, and Romeo, 21.
