Joel Kim Booster had his house exorcised to get rid of jealous ghost that was in love with his fiancé

Joel Kim Booster had to go all “the power of Christ compels you” in his own home to banish a ghost in love with his fiancé.

The Love Hotel host shares all the gory details with Jennifer Hudson during a stop on her eponymous talk show Wednesday. In a preview from the episode, below, he hilariously shares the unbelievable true story of a lovelorn ghost and the wild lengths he went through to banish it, including a remote exorcism.

Booster tells Hudson owning the house has been great, except for having to deal with a ghost.

“Lots of normal creepy stuff that could be easily explained” happened at first — like things falling off of ledges — he explains, until one night he was doing laundry and saw a flannel-clad man walk through his house.

“It’s one of the scariest things I have ever experienced because I thought there was a man in my house, and then I went out into the hall and he was gone,” Booster tells Hudson.

He says another time he was home alone in his kitchen and felt someone grab his side. Booster turned, thinking it was his fiancé, John-Michael Sudsina, only to realize his fiancé wasn’t home yet and no one was there. Booster says Sudsina was skeptical that they had a ghost problem, until one night they both could hear someone running across their living room floor, but again, no one was there.

“I did have my house exorcized remotely by a woman in Florida,” Booster says, cracking up hysterically. “Just one phone call, I explained the situation, and I thought maybe she’d Zoom with me, I’d FaceTime her, and show her the house. No, she simply did it remotely from Florida and sent me a receipt where she explained that there were like five dark portals that were closed, I had 48 possessions, my partner had 52 possessions.”

“It was very funny and strange, but also we haven’t experienced anything since,” he says; however, Booster says, his fiancé started having a recurring dream of a man standing outside their house trying to get in, so he called the woman again.

“She said, ‘Oh yes, I can sense he’s still on the property. He’s actually in love with your fiancé and is jealous of you. But don’t worry, I talked to him and explained to him that he needs to go,'” Booster explains.
