Joe Jonas has entered the chat.
Tiktok user Emmmily recorded a conversation she had about marrying the “Cake by the Ocean” singer — who responded in the comments of the viral video. Offscreen, Emmmily’s husband asks her to name something he loves as much as she loves Jonas, 35. She can’t and says slowly, “I love Joe Jonas.”
The husband yells back, “You’re my wife! We are married til death do us part!” Emmmily laughs, countering that the agreement changes if “Joe walks through that door.”
The husband insists that Jonas is only five-foot-three and he’ll “fight his ass.” “That’s a promise,” he adds, leaving Emmmily visibly shocked.
Jonas had clearly seen enough. “Well I love you both and I’m 5’4 ok,” he wrote, to which the original poster responded, “I love you so much.” (Upon searching how tall Jonas actually is, five-foot-seven populates.)

Fans reacted to Jonas inserting himself into the couples’ conversation. “Till Joe Jonas do us part,” one person wrote. “Joe Jonas commenting on this is villain work 😭😭😭😭😭,” another commented. “She has big goals and I can appreciate her for it!” a third said.
Some recalled having similar conversations with their significant others. “I told my husband ‘Yeah your arms are nice but they’re no Joe Jonas’ and we fought for like 3 days after. 😂😂,” one said. “At my friend’s wedding in her husband’s vows he literally said ‘I know I’m only here because Joe Jonas wasn’t available,’ ” another added.
“My best friend broke up with her long term boyfriend in high school because she didn’t love him as much as she loved Joe Jonas,” a third person chimed in.

This online interaction comes after Jonas spoke about being chronically online, telling PEOPLE about his habit of “death scrolling” when debuting his new song “Heart by Heart” in April.
“I’m at fault of becoming somebody that’s just in a death scroll… This is a nice reminder to just be present with your friends and family. You can shut your phone off for a few hours and hang out,” he said, adding that he enjoyed being offline during the Masters, where you can’t bring your phone.
“And I think, once you’re away from your phone for even a few hours, you’re panicked sometimes — at least I am. And then you get back, and you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m fine, the world is still revolving, everyone was fine.’ “
