Jimmy Kimmel isn’t fond of the Manning brothers’ musical escapades.

During a stand-up set at the end of Disney’s 2025 upfront presentation on Tuesday, the comedian roasted Peyton Manning and Eli Manning for their song-and-dance routine from earlier in the afternoon.

“I do wanna thank the Manning brothers for finally answering the question, ‘What if two jars of mayonnaise could sing?'” Kimmel joked. “The answer is: they can’t, and they shouldn’t. That was worse than what the Menendez brothers did.”

After the audience loudly groaned at Kimmel’s joke comparing the former NFL players to convicted murderers Lyle and Erik Menendez, the comedian asked, “Too soon or too late?”

Kimmel also ended his 12-minute comedy set with another shot at the athletes: “Ladies and gentlemen, here with another song, the Manning brothers.” (No such additional song actually occurred.)

The Mannings performed the afternoon’s most involved segment, wherein they sang (and danced to) an elaborate number where they jokingly pitched ways to insert themselves into hit shows under the Disney banner, including Hulu’s High Potential, ABC’s Abbott Elementary, and Hulu’s Paradise. The segment saw stars from each of those series — Kaitlin Olson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Sterling K. Brown — join the brothers on stage to shoot down their ideas for joining the shows.

Later in the presentation, the Mannings returned to the stage to plug Chad Powers alongside star/co-creator Glen Powell. The series stars the Twisters actor as a disgraced college football player who dons elaborate makeup to assume a new identity and play for a different team. The Mannings serve as executive producers on the show, which is based on an ESPN+ comedy segment starring Eli Manning in a similar disguise as he tried to join Penn State’s football team.

Elsewhere in his stand-up set, Kimmel ribbed Disney CEO Bob Iger, who appeared at the beginning of the upfront presentation. “This is my, I think, millionth upfront? I do it once a year like a prostate exam,” he joked. “But it’s hard to say no when Bob Iger shows up. Bob Iger has passionately led Disney for 20 years and reluctantly for three.”

Kimmel playfully suggested that Iger has no interest in the presentation or its audience of advertisers. “This is Bob’s second upfront appearance in a row. You think he needs to be here? He doesn’t need to be here,” Kimmel said. “You think Bob gives a s— about The Rookie season 8? Bob doesn’t care if this whole room turns into Avengers: Endgame dust, okay? But he showed up.”
