Allen Lazard and Camila Escribens are engaged!
The New York Jets wide receiver, 29, proposed to the model-influencer, 26, on May 18, and the couple announced the news over a week later in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, May 27.
“Onto the next chapter…💍 05.18.25,” Escribens wrote alongside the post, which included several photos of the sunset proposal.
Lazard popped the question on a beach in Montauk, N.Y., getting down on one knee in a sandy pathway created using candles and white bouquets. The path led up to a large, heart-shaped floral arrangement with a neon sign in the middle that read: “Will you marry me?”

The NFL star and model — who was crowned Miss Peru in 2023 — wore complementary outfits for the romantic sunset proposal. Lazard swapped Jets green for a cream set, and his now-fiancée matched him in a beachy, off-the-shoulder dress.
Escribens also showed off a close-up of her engagement ring in one photo, the sparkler shining on her finger as she wrapped her hands around Lazard’s neck.
Well-wishers flocked to congratulate the couple, including Lazard’s team, who dedicated a post to the engagement.
“They’re engaged!” the Jets wrote on X. “Congrats to @AllenLazard and his new fiancé 💚.”
It is not clear when exactly Lazard and Escribens began dating, but the model first posted a photo of the wide receiver on Instagram in 2024. After several photos of her posing in a suite at MetLife Stadium, she included one snap of the NFL star — still in full gear — on the field.
“Go jets baby 🤍🧿🥰,” she captioned the post.

For Valentine’s Day, the couple gave a glimpse into their relationship with a PDA-filled Instagram carousel of photos snapped on private jets, boats and football fields. The post also included a couple of sweet mirror selfies, and a video of the pair sharing a kiss and doing a special handshake on game day.
“Mi soporte número 1, mi mejor amiga, mi alma, mi amor para siempre, & my Valentine forever 👑🤍,” Lazard captioned the holiday post.
The model has also featured the player several times on her TikTok account, most recently, in a sweet video posted just one day after their engagement.
In a short TikTok clip posted on May 19, the couple shared a kiss on the sidewalk. As Escribens ends the clip, Lazard is seen playfully showing his middle finger.
“He just had to ruin the moment…,” she captioned the post. “#stilllovehim 🤍🙄.”
