  • Jessie J makes major changes to her Acoustic Tour months after revealing she was diagnosed with breast cancer

  • U.K. and European dates have been postponed until 2026, and American dates are canceled

  • “I feel frustrated and sad, but also, it is what it is. And I need to be better,” the singer said

Jessie J has postponed two legs of her upcoming tour while canceling another portion to focus on her health.

In a press release shared with PEOPLE on Thursday, Aug. 28, the English singer-songwriter announced that U.K. and European dates for her Acoustic Tour would be postponed, while American dates are canceled altogether.

“Unfortunately I have to have a second surgery — nothing too serious but it has to be done by the end of this year,” Jessie, 37, said. This falls in the middle of the tour I had booked. I’m so sorry, I feel frustrated and sad, but I need to be better, I need to be healed.”

Her U.K. and European shows originally scheduled for October 2025 will now take place in April 2026. Those tickets remain valid for the new dates.

Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels and London are among the impacted locations. All U.S. tickets will be automatically refunded at the original point of purchase.

The news comes roughly three months after she revealed via social media that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

In addition to her press release on Thursday, Jessie J also shared a longer, more personalized statement on her Instagram account.

After stating that she had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago, but needed another soon, the “Bang Bang” singer said, “So, I’m living in the moment, I’m embracing the moment, and I’m flying with the vibes.”

“So, that is what it is, and I’m sorry. I feel frustrated and sad, but also, it is what it is. And I need to be better. I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make. So, I’m postponing the tour til next year,” Jessie J said in an Instagram video.

She added that she still wants to do the American leg of the tour, but at this time she’s unsure of when that will be and that she has to “be realistic” about her current situation as well as the logistics that go into taking her show on the road.

“Wow you make your own plans and everything else will fall into place – health comes first. Love you girl ❤️,” Rita Ora wrote in the comment section.

Her fans also offered their support, with one writing, “We will wait for you as long as it takes. All that matters is your health. Love you so much!! Praying for you every step of the way.”

When Jessie J first revealed the news in June, she said the diagnosis came “Before ‘No Secrets’ came out.”

“I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period,” she continued, later adding that she was going “to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery.”

In a lengthy update to Instagram at the start of the month, the “Price Tag” singer wrote, “I am 7 weeks post breast cancer surgery. I’m still in the thick of recovery and my body is still finding its way. But I LOVE music and I LOVE my life and I want to LIVE in the moment.”
