Over the past 15 years, Jersey Shore has seen no shortage of iconic catch phrases.
In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE on set of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the beloved cast reflects on their most iconic one-liners and which phrases they’re most likely to get repeated by fans when interacting with them in real life.
“Stay and get your ass beat! Kidding. Kidding,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley jokes as Angelina Pivarnick reveals her most iconic one-liner is “I’m a bartender. I do great things.”

“I guess some people would be like, Deener. Merp. Deener. And I’m like, ‘oh yeah, I used to say that,'” Deena Cortese adds. “I grew out of it. Everything was merp.”
The men in the Jersey Shore cast tells PEOPLE that the phrase fans are most likely to repeat depend on which clip is trending on TikTok for the month.
“Right now the hot one is, ‘God bless me, it’s summer,'” DJ Paul D says. “It’s like they trend on TikTok and then come back.”

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino reveals the lines he gets the most will either be “T-shirt time” or “Gym, tanning, laundry.”
“Right now, the grenade whistle is trending. I saw that one. People are like, ‘they don’t make it anymore,'” Vinny Guadagnino says to which Paul D adds, “‘The cabs are here’ is a good one.”
The cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation has lots to celebrate with the season 8 premiere on the horizon and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola welcoming her first child with her fiancé Justin May.
PEOPLE exclusively learned the exciting news that Giancola would be expecting a baby boy at her gender reveal party on the Seaside Boardwalk along with the rest of the cast.
“It’s just so iconic because me and my roommates, we’ve basically grew up here in Seaside and also me and Justin met here in Seaside,” Giancola tells PEOPLE, moments before she learned the sex of her baby as blue powder shot from cannons. “It’s just very sentimental, meaningful all around.”
Giancola says that although they “had a feeling” it might be a boy, she and her fiancé are just happy to be pregnant.
“I think we were just happy to have a healthy baby,” she adds. “We didn’t care about gender at all, but we kind of had a feeling what it was.”
