Jennifer Lopez is reflecting on her son’s growth.
On Friday, Aug. 29, the “On The Floor” artist, 56, shared a throwback video of her son Max, 17, adorably singing Lukas Graham’s “7 Years,” on her Instagram Stories. Over the video, Lopez mused about how “fast” time goes by, as her son starts his first day of senior year.
“How does 10 years go by so fast!? So proud of you Maxi 🥲 1st day of senior year I love you beyond forever 🤍” she wrote across the cute clip.

On Monday, Aug. 25, the Jenny from the Block artist also shared a few snaps on her Instagram Stories after she dropped her teen Emme off at school for their first day of senior year. Lopez posted a throwback snap of her and the teen, saying that Emme will “always be my beautiful baby.”
“I just dropped off this little coconut to their first day of senior year. Looking back at this photo from a few years ago, it just reminds me that they’ll always be my beautiful baby!” Lopez sweetly wrote over the photo, adding four black heart emojis.
While Lopez holds the title of actress, singer, dancer and business mogul, her most important job is being the mom of her twins, Max and Emme. The proud mom shares her two children with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
When The Mother actress welcomed her twins, she told PEOPLE that it was love at first sight.
“It’s unconditional love,” she told PEOPLE. “I know everybody feels this way about their kids, but I just feel like they’re super special. I can’t wait to see what they do.”

Ahead of her twins starting school, the singer and dancer recapped a recent summer getaway trip to the Hamptons via Instagram, sharing a selfie with Emme. The pair was joined by vocal coach Stevie Mackey as they sat in the backseat of the car, and the wind blew through their hair.
The post also featured several solo shots of Lopez, who wore white jeans and a cream hoodie, next to bikes. The actress simply captioned the post, “Le Sunshine ☀️.”

The Hustlers star and the teen also recently enjoyed a special evening out on Broadway, with the doting mom sharing photos to her Instagram from her night out. Lopez noted that Emme was the “best date ever.”
Lopez shared selfies and a sweet video of the duo shimmying as they prepared for the evening. At the end of the quick clip, Lopez leaned in for a kiss.
“Othello premiere with the best date ever ✨,” she wrote in the caption.
