Jennifer Lopez spent her Mother’s Day in the Dominican Republic, where she celebrated finishing her upcoming Netflix rom-com Office Romance. The star posted a video of herself twirling in a swimsuit and pink maxi skirt on the beach. “That FREE feeling… it’s a wrap ✨ #OfficeRomance,” she wrote.

In another Instagram posted yesterday, Lopez wore a gingham sundress and straw hat alongside flowers and a framed photo of her kids. “A most beautiful Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there 🌸 Wishing everyone love, laughter, peace, joy and happiness 🌻,” she wrote.

The posts come as Lopez embraces a more reflective chapter in her life following her divorce from Ben Affleck. In an interview with El País earlier this month, the Shotgun Wedding star spoke about supporting her children through the transition. “I promised them that I’d come out the other side stronger—and I did,” she said. “They feel it now. That gives me a great sense of peace in my life. I’m happier that I’m a step further along than I was a year ago, two years ago, three years ago….I’m proud of myself for that, and I’m proud that I was able to navigate my children through difficult times, that they’re stronger and better because of it.”
Lopez has had one key focus during this era of her life: “My goal was to really solidify the family unit that is me and my two children.”
