Jennie Garth’s daughter Fiona Facinelli recently admitted she has a long way to go before she finishes Beverly Hills, 90210.
The duo recently spoke about everything from their favorite outfits to defining inner beauty while on set for PEOPLE’s World’s Most Beautiful issue. During the conversation, Fiona, 18, revealed that she has only seen “some” of her mom’s iconic ‘90s TV show.
“I watched some. Yeah, I think I watched the first season,” she told PEOPLE exclusively.
“Only the first season?” Jennie, 53, then asked.
“It’s really good, I love it,” Fiona responded, to which Jennie replied: “Wait, there’s nine more seasons to go,” adding, “Come on, girl. It gets good!”

As for Fiona’s favorite moment from what she has seen of the hit Fox drama?
“I just love that first scene when you’re in the convertible. I just get inspired by you in that moment,” she told her mom, referring to the moment when Jennie’s character, Kelly Taylor, first appears onscreen in the show’s pilot episode, which aired in October of 1990.

Fiona also shared that it’s “really interesting” seeing her mom — who was 18 years old during the show’s first season — at the same age she is now.
“Even her voice is different,” Fiona said of Jennie as a teen. “It’s so weird to see her my age interacting — even if it’s just on TV — it still feels real.”
“I love her little voice in the show. It’s so cute,” she continued.
“It was a very baby voice,” Jennie added.

“I’ve learned so much. I’ve developed so much appreciation for that young girl who was in those scenes and in that life that she was living. Filming that show and living in such an adult environment,” she explained.
“And I have so much respect and love for her. It’s like I’m watching myself as my own child,” she continued, adding: “Just today I was looking at Fiona in the makeup chair earlier and I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, that was me at her age.’ And what a life I’ve lived and all the opportunities that I’ve had.”
