“It’s been a couple of months, I haven’t wanted to talk about it,” Garth captioned a photo of her petting Pearl during a trip to the beach.
She continued to share that Pearl “changed our lives.”
“My Pearly girl will be with me forever in the softest place in my heart, where I cherish all the people who have left but whom I still feel everyday. Thank you life for allowing me to feel love so deeply,” the podcaster wrote, adding emojis of angel wings and a light blue heart.

Garth sheltered with her ex-husband Peter Facinelli during the Los Angeles fires in January, and thanked him for taking in her loved ones and dogs.
“I just have a deep sadness today,” the actress said in an Instagram video. She added that she and her family were “safe” and feeling “blessed and fortunate” that “our home made it through the night.”
“We’re all so, so lucky that more people weren’t hurt or trapped in the fires,” Garth continued.
After noting her plans to head back home, she thanked Facinelli, whom she was married to from 2001 to 2012, for letting her and her family stay at his house.
“Me and all the girls and the dogs and Dave,” she said, in reference to the three daughters she shares with Facinelli – Luca, Lola, and Fiona – and her husband Dave Abrams.
