Jenna Bush Hager is missing her Rome away from home.
Jenna, 43, shared an Instagram video post on Wednesday, Aug. 27, featuring family photos from her Italian vacation. The Today With Jenna & Friends host posed alongside husband Henry Chase Hager and the couple’s three children – Mila, 12, Poppy, 10, and Hal, 6 – in the photos.
The family of five visited a number of historical sites, from Roman basilicas to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, even sampling authentic Italian gelato.
“We ❤️ Roma! We will miss our home outside of Rome! @romecavalieri,” Jenna wrote in the caption, thanking the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria hotel for their stay.
In between the sight seeing, Jenna shared photos of the luxury resort, which featured a pool flanked by palm trees and striking views of the ancient city.

Jenna opted for laid-back Euro-summer style during the trip, including linen pants, simple tops and maxi dresses, paired with comfortable sneakers.
The vacation photos come amid Jenna’s annual summer break. While Today with Jenna & Friends is typically pre-recorded on Fridays, eagle-eyed fans noticed that pre-recorded episodes began airing the week of Aug. 18. Savannah Guthrie stepped in as co-host on Aug. 18 and 19.

The host pre-recorded several episodes featuring new interviews and exclusive content prior to her Roman excursion. In August 2024, Jenna spent her summer break in her home state of Texas with her family, according to an Instagram post at the time.
