Jelly Roll has a few words for his online haters.
The rising singer appeared as a guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week and turned a whole bunch of lemons into lemonade. He took the stage to read Internet comments from people who publicly hated on him online and turned them into a power ballad.
“Most of all, I want to thank my fans. I literally would not be who I am without you. Truly, truly amazing,” he explained to the crowd before busting into song, according to Country Living. “Well, most of you; some of you are a–holes. But you know what? I’ve never been the one to let my haters get me down, so tonight I’m going to debut my brand new single.”
He then sang off some messages that had the studio audience in stitches.

“Jelly Roll looks like a meth addict grabbed a microphone,” one of the messages read.
“Jelly Roll is just Lizzo for white people,” another one said.
Of course, the singer gets the last laugh in this bit, ending the song by singing “you can’t clown me, and tell me I suck, because I don’t give a f—.” On TikTok, commenters sang his praise.
“Jelly Roll laughing all the way to the bank,” one commenter noted.
“Not Jelly Roll calling the whole Internet out in true long-haired song of a sinner style,” someone else said.
It’s safe to say the “Beautifully Broken” star is doing just fine these days, despite having some haters.
