Jason Kelce is enjoying his offseason
The ESPN broadcaster said he “always” makes time for his brother Travis
The brothers played golf last month in Las Vegas, and caught up with friends off the course as well
Jason Kelce is “always” finding ways to spend time with his brother Travis.
The retired NFL star says he is savoring his offseason, which has taken on a new shape now that he’s out of the league and along the sidelines as an ESPN broadcaster.
“I mean, the biggest thing you enjoy is being around the family more,” Kelce, 37, told PEOPLE while on the red carpet at the Amazon MGM Studios Upfront on Monday, May 12. “I think in-season, I was doing Monday Night Football, you’re doing the podcast, you’re working a lot, the late-night show later in the season. So I think now that it’s the off-season, you get time to be around the family more.”
And especially his younger brother, who the They Call It Late Night host prioritizes.
“I always look forward to spending more time with Trav,” Jason told PEOPLE.

Jason and Travis Kelce hit the links last off-season too.
Late last month, the siblings had a Vegas getaway, where they pulled up at Justin Timberlake’s 8AM Golf Invitational, enjoyed time on the green and reunited with friends off the course, too.
The elder Kelce made his first trip “out of the house in a long time” since the memorable birth of his and wife Kylie Kelce’s daughter Finnley “Finn” Anne in March. But his golf game sounded like something he wanted to forget.
“My first putt, I think, was, like, a 10-foot putt that I put legitimately five feet [away] to the point that everyone audibly laughed behind me,” Jason said on his and his brother’s New Heights podcast.
He added, “Like, somebody legitimately said, ‘That can’t be serious.’ It was like it was straight from Happy Gilmore. Like, I hit it, and I was like, oh, no. That thing is going nowhere.”
Karaoke night, however, was something else, Travis shared.
“The first 10-15, maybe even 20 seconds, you guys were far the most entertaining crew up there,” Travis, 35, said about his brother’s rendition of “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”

And with the addition of a fourth daughter to his family’s roster, Jason’s off-season is hitting all the right notes.
“We’re going to be down the shore a lot this year, which we’re looking forward to again, as always,” he told PEOPLE on Monday night. “So yeah, that’s the thing that you most look forward to.”
