Jack Osbourne Shared Heartfelt Family Memory the Day Before Ozzy Osbourne’s Death originally appeared on Parade.
In news that has shocked people around the world today, legendary rockerOzzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76 after his long battle with Parkinson’s disease. The news was confirmed in a statement to The Sun, which noted he was “with his family and surrounded by love.”
The news comes just a little over two weeks after his performance at Black Sabbath’s final show.
The music legend’s family is no doubt absolutely heartbroken, and just yesterday, Ozzy’s son, Jack Osbourne, shared a heartfelt family memory of one of his favorite stories from filming their reality show, The Osbournes.
As he explained in a video posted to Instagram, “Our house that we filmed The Osbournes in, we bought it off this guy who at the time was the President of the Congo, and his name was President Bongo…”
He then goes on to recall how his mom, Sharon Osbourne, went into the closet, which was full of campaign t-shirts, and the family proceeded to steal one.

Aww. What a fond, fun, light-hearted memory the Osbournes will always treasure. It’s stories like these that made all of us watching at home fall head-over-heels in love with this crew. Despite their celebrity status, they were always so relatable, tight-knit, and obviously full of unconditional love for each other.
