An iconic actress has joined TikTok, and her fans are thrilled. Blue Velvet star Isabella Rossellini, 73, recently posted her first video and caused a stir across the social media site.
Rossellini kept her debut TikTok video simple. She filmed herself outdoors, surrounded by chickens. She filmed herself while on a bicycle, initially appearing confused or perhaps annoyed by the chickens around her.
She wore a straw hat and appeared fresh-faced, out for a casual ride. Dozens of chickens were in the area where she stopped, and when she started forging forward again, many of them raced to keep up with her.
Rossellini commented on the chickens following her, sounding surprised as she expressed, “Look at that!”
The casual video that Rossellini used as her TikTok debut was an immediate hit with fans.
“This is such a classy way for a legend to turn up on my [For Your Page],” one comment read.
Someone replied, “This was exactly my thought instant follow.”
“This is how I find out Isabella Rosellini is on tiktok,” exclaimed another fan.
Another fan joked, “The chickens are all like, ‘OMG ISABELLA ROSSELLINI! I LOVE YOUR WORK!'”
Someone else questioned, “Wait THEE Isabella Rossellini???”
“I can’t believe Isabella Rossellini is on TikTok. For some way I feel so vindicated. Cause my daughter was just giving me grief about being 58 and on TikTok. She is a legend,” declared another of Rossellini’s fans.
Rossellini quickly got the hang of posting on TikTok and added several additional posts soon after the first.
The second TikTok post included two adorable puppies who needed a temporary home, Rossellini explained. Additional posts featured other animals from her farm, like sheep. It appeared that several of the posts appeared on Rossellini’s Instagram page before she joined TikTok.
The iconic actress has been posting on Instagram regularly for a while, and she has a following of 1 million people. On TikTok, she has quickly accrued nearly 18,000 followers and almost 100,000 likes in just a couple of days. Rossellini’s initial TikTok post received nearly 500,000 views in the hours after it debuted.
