Uno is coming to a Las Vegas casino, but if you’re looking to gamble on the popular card game, you may want to play a reverse.
Long a favorite game among friend groups and family members, Uno will be available this weekend at a Las Vegas casino for a first-of-its-kind “elevated social experience,” the Palms Casino Resort and Mattel announced in a joint news release in May.
But entry to the event at the Palms Casino is limited and money won’t be at stake, Mattel confirmed to USA TODAY on July 14, clarifying speculation on social media that casino-goers could gamble on the game.

Uno coming to Vegas casino for short-lived promo
Mattel is opening the doors to the “Uno Social Club” at the Palms Casino from Friday July 18 through Sunday, July 20, with plans to debut more across the country later in the year, the company announced. The club features themed rooms, exclusive game variants, and “immersive experiences.”
Entry submissions for UNO Social Club Las Vegas contest ran through June 19.
“We created UNO Social Clubs to reimagine what game night can be − bringing people together for real-world fun, connection, and a bit of friendly competition,” Ray Adler, vice president and global head of games at Mattel, said in the statement. “The Uno Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning.”
The temporary experience at the Palms Casino Resort gives one winner and a guest the chance to stay, play, and “go wild” in one of the most colorfully decorated suites in the hotel from July 18-20.
The suite also includes a game host to shuffle the deck and private bowling alley, according to Mattel. Suite game tables will also be stocked with a plethora of Uno games including “new extensions for even more spirited competition.”
To enter the contest, fans were asked to post a “creative” TikTok video using Mattel’s new UNO Reverse Card filter and the hashtags #UNOSocialClub and #MattelContest. Participants must be age 21 or older and residents of the United States, according to Mattel.

Do any other states offer casino Uno games?
Yaamava Casino in California announced Uno as a table game in April.
“The wait is finally over,” the casino post this spring. “As of today, April 1, Yaamava’ is proud to offer a brand new table game, Uno! Please use Draw 4’s responsibly.”
“They gotta hire more security,” one Instagram user posted alongside a laughing emoji.
