Fans think Sydney Sweeney might be filming a secret role in the upcoming Devil Wears Prada sequel.
The actress, 27, was reportedly spotted on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Wednesday, Aug. 6, according to photos and videos published by TMZ and Entertainment Tonight.
The sequel, featuring Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci returning from the 2006 hit, is currently filming in New York City.
An onlooker captured footage of someone believed to be Sweeney, wearing a hoodie pulled over her face, emerging from a trailer on the set. Blunt, 42, similarly exited a trailer and was sheilded from rain with an umbrella.
Reps for Sweeney and Devil Wears Prada 2 distributor 20th Century Studios have not responded to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

Joining the original Devil Wears Prada cast in the upcoming sequel are Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B. J. Novak, Simone Ashley, Rachel Bloom and more. Ciara and Ashley Graham were also spotted on the set of the sequel.
In addition to continuing her Emmy-nominated role on HBO’s Euphoria, Sweeney has several big-screen projects on the horizon. She’ll play Christy Martin in a David Michôd-directed biopic about the boxer and lead Paul Feig’s The Housemaid (in theaters Dec. 25) with Amanda Seyfried.

In July, Sweeney’s ad campaign for American Eagle jeans was embroiled in controversy, sparking debate over its tagline, “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans.” On Aug. 3, she stepped out to promote her new movie Americana at a screening in Los Angeles.
The original Devil Wears Prada, based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel of the same name, starred Hathaway as Andy Sachs, junior assistant for Streep’s Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of fictional fashion magazine Runway.
The new follow-up is said to follow Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs,” according to Variety.
