Alix Earle’s summer is all about good vibes, great company and something to share under the sun. She hosted all that and more in the Hamptons this past weekend.
On Sunday, July 13, the influencer, 24, celebrated her canned cocktail brand with the SipMARGS’ Official Summer Kickoff event. Earle — along with her closest friends and some of her margarita-loving fans — danced away the day to music spun by DJ Disco Lines at Montauk’s famed Surf Lodge.
The hostess gave PEOPLE an inside look at the colorful coastal soirée and recapped all of her favorite parts of the day, from how she chose her on-theme outfit to how her loved ones showed up in support. Earle showed off her sense of style in “get ready with me” TikTok videos, so it’s no surprise that she pulled out the perfect outfit for her SipMARGS Kickoff. She managed to perfectly match the sunshine yellow of her classic margarita can.

The content creator admits she didn’t originally plan to method-dress her way through SipMARGS events, but now she’s loving the possibility of more coordination.
“We’re going to have to do a mango can or a spicy can [next],” she adds, nodding to the flavors respectively packaged in orange and green. “I feel like the margaritas bring the fun energy and make me want to go above and beyond with the outfits.”

The Hot Mess podcast host says “SipMARGS summer” is all about who you spend it with. She was especially excited to have her inner circle by her side at Surf Lodge.
“Getting to have all of my college friends with me and my sister and my high school best friend and new friends I met over the years was just so fun,” says Earle, who is dating Houston Texans football player Braxton Berrios.

Earle’s turned her beverage business into something bigger for her fans and millions of followers, something that speaks to a “fun lifestyle.”
“It goes really well with me and my brand and what I’ve built over the years. I think it’s pretty synonymous,” she explains. “It always brings the good vibes and reminds me of good times.”

“I think anytime I am enjoying the SipMargs, it’s always with my friends, with loved ones. It’s always just creating good memories,” she adds.

The party pulsed along to beats by Disco Lines, whom Earle was especially excited to have soundtrack her event.
“We love him,” she tells PEOPLE. “He always brings a good vibe and a good crowd, so I think that definitely always makes for a good party.”

The vibes were chill and the drinks were chillier, but Earle notes that the highlight of her Surf Lodge gathering came a little later in the day, when the sun settled down behind the coast.
“It was so hot during the day. So when the sun started to set, I was like, ‘Okay, I’m not dripping sweat anymore, and I’m a little bit cooled off now,’ ” says Earle.

On Friday, July 11, Earle hosted another event at another Hamptons venue, Common Ground East. But beyond partying in the name of SipMARGS, she says she’s been taking the opportunity to relax out on Long Island.
“I’ve honestly been very chill here, besides the few SipMARGS parties this weekend,” says the social media sensation. “We’ve been enjoying just going to Pilates in the morning, going on long walks. We’ve been cooking every night, and then we’ve been laying out by the pool and having our SipMARGS.”
