During a photocall on Sunday, May 18, Cumberbatch added a black sling to a classic black tux, but it was his look the next day that he really got creative with.
While hitting the red carpet on Monday, May 19, the 48-year-old actor could be seen in a brown zip-up short-sleeved shirt that was perfectly complimented by the green patterned fabric sling holding up his left forearm.
He even further accessorized his wrist with a stylish watch, while the rest of his look featured black pants, white sneaks and a cool pair of sunglasses.
“His style’s color palette is always pleasing to the eye,” one of Cumberbatch’s fans wrote on X after seeing the pics, while another user added, “Even with a splinted hand, I mean.. just look at him!”
Cumberbatch was at this year’s Cannes Film Festival in support of the new comedy drama, The Phoenician Scheme, directed by Wes Anderson and featuring an all-star cast that includes Bill Murray, Benicio Del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Willem Dafoe and more.
