Iconic ‘Fan Favorite’ Coach Is Coming Back to ‘The Voice’ originally appeared on Parade.
The Voice has been going strong for 14 years! With 27 seasons aired so far, they’ve had hundreds of contestants and lots of incredible judges… Though there will always be fan favorites.
For their 28th season, NBC’s hit show is bringing back several shining stars, but one coach in particular has fans excited. Niall Horan is back, and he’s coming out swinging.

Season 28 will also see the return of Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé. According to Team Niall fans in the comments, they might as well just stay home! One excited viewer wrote, “can’t wait to see Niall’s third win!”
Niall Horan is no stranger to The Voice: he first appeared on the show in Season 23, leading Team Niall to a victory. He did the same thing in Season 24 before leaving the show to work on his music. He released his third studio album, The Show, and went on a world tour.
If you want to watch Team Niall crush the competition in Season 28, The Voice premieres on Monday, September 22nd at 8/7c.
Niall Horan Got His Start on a Similar Show
Considering Horan’s start on The X Factor UK with his One Direction bandmates, it’s no surprise that he has a soft spot for music competition shows. When he first appeared on The X Factor UK in 2010, he was just 16 years old.
If Niall Horan can bring his team to victory for a third time, he’ll tie Adam Levine, who was one of the original coaches on The Voice. We’ll just have to wait and see!
