Iconic Comedian, 64, Responds to Viral Photos With ‘New Face’ Announcement originally appeared on Parade.
Kathy Griffin turned a media stir into a punchline after she dropped a major announcement on social media.
The iconic comedian took to social media and revealed that she would be returning for another tour.
Months after wrapping up her My Life on the PTSD List tour, she is back, this time drawing inspiration from the viral moment for her upcoming shows.
On Instagram, the award-winning celebrity shared details of her tour dates in Las Vegas and Canada this November.
“Just when you thought I was done… I come back better than ever in classic Griffin fashion! I’m happy to announce two new upcoming shows this November. Find me in the glamorous Las Vegas on November 8th and Anaheim on November 22nd,” she wrote.

In the photo, the Emmy winner smiled brightly while showing off her red wavy hair, full bangs and glammed up look.
With her upcoming event titled New Face, New Tour, this is seemingly her response to the viral paparazzi photos from earlier this month.
It can be recalled that the 64-year-old comedian was spotted sporting a new look while in Malibu.
Nearly unrecognizable during a casual outing, she was seen without her signature full bangs, sporting her long natural hair.
The TV host also went makeup-free, dressed casually in a white T-shirt from her 2018 Laugh Your Head Off World Tour and black pants during a sunny summer walk, as posted by Page Six.

On social media, fans couldn’t believe how unusual she looked in the viral photos.
“She definitely looks different,” one wrote.
“No way,” another commenter said.
However, this isn’t the first time she donned a different look.
In 2017, Griffin sported a buzz cut hairstyle after she shaved her head to support her late sister Joyce Griffin, who was battling cancer at the time.
