A legendary actress of stage and screen sat down for a career Q&A at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation on Tuesday, May 20.
Jane Seymour, the Golden Globe-winning star of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, joined film critic Scott Mantz for an intimate evening in front of a small audience called “SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations Presents Jane Seymour Career Retrospective.”
The 74-year-old actress looked gorgeous in a simple but elegant white striped blue dress with a fitted summery bodice and a long skirt.
This comes on the heels of Seymour’s annual Hearts Wide Open gala, which celebrated its 15th anniversary on May 19, which she held at her home this year. Los Angeles Magazine was on the scene and the magazine writes, “In a golden Malibu twilight, with waves crashing below and candles flickering under the stars, Jane Seymour opened the gates of her stunning oceanfront estate for a heartfelt and unforgettable evening. The occasion? The 15th Anniversary Gala of the Open Hearts Foundation—a cause as elegant and enduring as the woman behind it.”
Former CNN anchor Christi Paul was the host for the evening. Brandon Jenner performed an acoustic guitar set; longtime humanitarian Henry Gluck was given the Open Hearts Humanitarian Award; and advocate Avery Colvert received an award for her “trailblazing work empowering young women through art.”

Though her career spans decades and Seymour could certainly have ridden off into the sunset by now, she actually currently stars as the titular character on the BBC America dramedy Harry Wild. Wild is a retired college professor who can’t seem to keep out of her police inspector son’s cases; Irish actor Kevin Ryan co-stars as Harry’s son, Charlie. It is filmed on location in Dublin, Ireland. The fourth season began airing on Acorn TV in the U.S. on May 5.
Finally, Seymour is also busy being a mom to five adult children and a grandmother to several grandchildren. Pictured below is Seymour with stepdaughter Jenny, son Kristopher, daughter Katie, son Sean and son Johnny.
