Iconic Actor, 89, Is Nearly Unrecognizable in Photos With Wife, 54, During Rare Outing originally appeared on Parade.
Woody Allen and his wife Soon-Yi Previn were spotted holding hands during a rare outing in Santa Monica, California, on July 26. In photos published by the Daily Mail, the couple appeared to keep a low profile after they enjoyed dinner at Italian eatery Giorgio Baldi.
Allen, 89, who married Previs, 54, more than two decades ago, was nearly unrecognizable in the photos — his iconic round-rimmed glasses are perhaps the only thing that really gives his identity away. He wore a pair of khaki slacks with a blue button-down shirt underneath a beige sweater.

Meanwhile, Previn wore a pair of patterned pants with a cream sweater vest and a beige sweater jacket over top. She accessorized with some gold bangle bracelets, a large shoulder bag and a bucket hat of her own.
According to his IMDb page, Allen hasn’t made any movies in well over a year. In a 2024 interview with Air Mail, the iconic actor admitted that he wasn’t sure what his future in the entertainment business would look like following the release of the film Coup de Chance.

“I’m on the fence about it,” Allen said, via The Guardian. “I don’t want to go out to raise money. I find that a pain in the neck. But if someone shows up and calls in and says we want to back the film, then I would seriously consider it. I would probably not have the willpower to say no, because I have so many ideas.”
