Iconic ‘90s Star, 48, Turns Heads While Soaking Up the Sun Abroad originally appeared on Parade.
We’re totally buggin’ after seeing iconic ‘90s actress Alicia Silverstone looking as cool as ever when she slipped into a sleek black swimsuit during a vacation in Mallorca.
The Batman & Robin star wore a flattering one-piece bathing suit and paired it with some dark shades. She was all smiles as her long blonde hair was pulled back with a cute claw clip in photos shared by the Daily Mail on July 6.
Nineties kids might first remember spotting Silverstone in Aerosmith’s 1993 video for “Cryin’,” before she teamed up with Liv Tyler in another of the band’s iconic releases, “Crazy.” From there, her star continued to rise, and in 1995 she took on her most well-known role as Cher Horowitz in Clueless.
Earlier this year, it was announced that a TV series based on Cluelesswas in development with Peacock and would feature Silverstone returning to her role. This time around, The Babysitter actress will also have an executive producer title. Amy Heckerling, who directed the 1995 film, is returning as executive producer as well. Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz, who both worked on the memorable teen beach drama The O.C. in the early aughts, are also attached to the project.
Silverstone previously told People that she could reveal “nothing” about the Peacock when news about the series was announced in April, and Heckerling said that she was “thrilled to death” with being able to return to the characters in the legendary ‘90s film.
Silverstone has reprised her role as Cher a few times over the past few years, donning the iconic yellow plaid skirt once in 2018 during an episode of Lip Sync Battle, and then again in 2023 for a Super Bowl ad.
The mom of one was asked if she ever thought she would want to return to playing Cher and she replied, “I didn’t. And then I did it for the Super Bowl, yeah, and it was so much fun. We did it really at the Super Bowl.”
