Someone page Mr. Feeny, because Boy Meets World star Will Friedle is about to be a grandfather at age 48!
Friedle shared the big news on his podcast, Pod Meets World, where he broadcasts with fellow former Boy Meets World stars Rider Strong and Danielle Fishel. (Shawn and Topanga, respectively.)
“Will’s about to be a grandfather,” Fishel said, prompting Boy Meets World‘s stage manager and director Lynn McCracken to say, “What?”
Friedle went on to say that his stepdaughter, Lexi, is expecting a child.

“I’m about to be a grandfather, actually,” Friedle confirmed. “Yeah, my stepdaughter’s about to have my first grandchild, so I’m very happy. I’m ’bout to be a poppy!”
Friedle married his wife, Susan, in 2016, according to People. Lexi was 21 when the couple started dating.
While Friedle, Strong, and Fishel remain a tight-knit squad, their former co-star Ben Savage, who led the show as fun-loving Cory Matthews, continues to be estranged from them in recent years. However, the crew is still in touch with William Daniels, the actor who played Mr. Feeny, the beloved teacher who followed the gang from elementary school through college.
“He’s doing great,” Friedle told the crowd at 90s Con in Hartford, Conn., on Saturday, March 29, Parade reported. “He was here last year. Yeah, he has a much more active social life than I could ever!”
