One of the more notable bands of the transition period from the late ’60s into the early ’70s was The Guess Who. The Canadian band, founded in Winnipeg, saw widespread success throughout America with their big hits like “These Eyes,” “No Time,” and “American Woman.”

The band was led by Burton Cummings, whose iconic husky vocals on “American Woman” made the song an instant success, reaching the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks.

After the band’s separation in 1975, Cummings went on to have a lengthy solo career finding a lot of success on his own as a performer, up until today, where he has some exciting news to share.

Fans were extremely excited to hear the news about the new summer tour and new album, leaving their reactions in the comment section.

“What an absolute legend. I must listen to this album.”

“We just saw him in concert. What a great event it was. I will go back again and again and again.”

“This Man is a Legend. 👍”

Sounds like the tour will be incredibly exciting. If the comments are to be believed, Cummings puts on a great show!
