Back in 1985, Hogan had a two-episode stint on the hit soap Search For Tomorrow. The wrestling legend made his soap debut two years after his big-screen debut in Rocky III.
Hogan played himself on Search For Tomorrow, making his cameo by walking into the fictional Big’s bar in Henderson, where he met Quinn (Jeffrey Meek) and Wendy (Lisa Peluso). Quinn was a superfan, while Wendy caught Hogan’s attention.
Art quickly imagined life on the soap when Quinn pitched Hogan’s idea of a competition as a way to help out Wendy. In true soap fashion, Hogan’s crush on Wendy was heightened when The Magnificent Muraco (Don Muraco) was thrown into the mix.
Their rivalry was drama-filled like only soaps back in the ‘80s could deliver. It was a classic wrestling feud that eventually made its way from the soap world to the real world.
Hogan made quite an impression on Search For Tomorrow, as his charisma and personality were on full display during his two episodes.
