Erin Napier is sharing an update on her husband Ben’s painful ankle injury.
In an Instagram post on Monday, July 28, the Home Town star, 39, offered a look at her husband’s treatment for his “destroyed” ankle, noting in the caption that his doctor recommended an “ankle replacement” as a result of the injury.
One video shows Ben, 41, laying down on a table as Erin’s brother, Clark Rasberry — a doctor of physical therapy at Optimal Performance PT — works on Ben’s ankle using a StemWave machine.
“Stemwave is a thing that exists and it’s somehow actually helping @scotsman.co’s ankle he destroyed playing basketball years ago,” she writes.
“His ortho doc says he needs an ankle replacement it’s so eaten up with arthritis now, but my big brother and this magic machine at @optimal_performance_pt has taken his pain from a 12 to a 4,” she adds.
In the video, Erin pans over to her husband of 16 years as he lays down on the table and raises his arms in excitement. She then gets a closer look at her brother using the machine to alleviate Ben’s ankle pain.
“WHAT IS THIS VOODOO? have yall heard of this? ps. not sponsored, just amazed,” the caption concludes.

According to the official Instagram account for Optimal Performance PT — which is also based in Erin and Ben Napier’s hometown of Laurel, Miss. — Rasberry has been a physical therapist for over 18 years and specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy and post-op rehabilitation.
Per the clinic’s website, StemWave is a therapy that “utilizes stem cells to promote healing and regeneration in the body.” It’s a non-invasive method used to treat chronic pain.
Ben re-shared his wife’s post to his Instagram Stories and added in the caption: “It is amazing. I cannot brag enough.”

This is not the first time Erin has supported Ben while he recovered from an injury.
In March 2023, the designer shared a snap of her husband resting on the couch after undergoing shoulder surgery. In the shot, he can be seen with a black sling around his shoulder along with a hospital bracelet on his wrist.
Her caption included a checklist of the procedures the woodworker underwent: “Rotator cuff repaired ✅ bone spur shaved off ✅ cartilage trimmed.” She also noted that he has the “Best nurse in the biz.”
The shot included a get well soon note with crayon hearts as well as a number of stuffed animals that their daughters — Helen, 7, and Mae, 4 — seemingly placed all over their dad.

Before his surgery, Erin showed off a photo of Ben after he worked on their home gym, and noted how he’s been prioritizing his health.
“Somehow despite having a torn rotator cuff and us barging in and slowing him down daily, @scotsman.co has been building a gym in the barn and lost many lbs. and holy smokes what a babe with good blood pressure 😄,” she captioned the post.
