TV Insider reported that Knight confirmed Farmhouse Fixer was not renewed after its third season in a June 2025 Instagram post. He shared the news while he was performing with NKOTB during their Las Vegas residency.
“Having the best time doing my residency in Vegas with NKOTB. A lot of you have been asking about the future of Farmhouse Fixer. I am sad to say HGTV has decided not to move forward with another season,” said Knight.
He also told his fans that he and his Farmhouse Fixer co-star Kristina Crestin “are so grateful for all your support over the past 3 seasons.”
“Television has been so incredibly fun for us. We are so proud of what we created together and look forward to sharing what’s next for us,” continued Knight.
Knight explained how he started renovating houses, which led him to have a career on HGTV, during a September 2022 interview with FOX 5 New York. He said his father “was a carpenter.” According to Knight, he wasn’t interested in his father’s line of work until he was an adult.
“As I got older, I began to really appreciate what he did. Just the beauty of houses. And then in ’94 when New Kids broke up, I started flipping houses,” said Knight during the interview.
