Fans of HGTV’s House Hunters are reacting to an unconventional couple recently featured on the show.
“There is a 30 year age difference between us, but we don’t feel it,” Sara, 52, says in a clip shared on HGTV’s official TikTok.
“I don’t care if anyone judges us, they can go focus on their own relationship,” 22-year-old Jack adds.
In the July 26 episode entitled “Cougar Needs a Den for Her Cub,” the couple searches for a new home in Sacramento, Calif. Together, they have big plans for Jack to become a professional mixed martial artist, so he wants a large at-home gym.

“I like the fact that Jack’s an alpha male, I think he’s nice and bulky,” she says in the clip. “But more importantly I like how calm he keeps me.”
“She’s really attractive and she seems like she’s my age when I talk to her,” Jack replies.
The couple met when Sara worked at a storage facility. Jack walked into her office and complained about ants in his unit. “We just kept smiling at each other and talking,” Sara explains.
She adds: “Immediately after our first date Jack moved in, that day.”
At the time the episode was filmed, the couple had been dating for eight months.
One of the moments that captured fans attention occurs while the couple was preparing a snack in the kitchen. As Jack and Sara are cutting fruit, she turns to him and says “I like your banana.” To which Jack responds with a giggle.
Later in the clip, their realtor, Mengo Lor, describes Jack and Sara as a “very unique couple.”
“They’re very unique, very unique relationship,” he says. “I guess love sees no age.”
Sara, who goes by @supermodelsaramarie on Instagram and has appeared in FHM and Maxim, tells PEOPLE it was “an honor” to be on HGTV. But she’s hoping it’s not her last time on TV.
“I hope that Selling Sunset or Selling the OC takes me on as a cast member,” says Sara, whose instagram bio includes “CA realtor.” “I’m able to play any character, but I definitely wouldn’t mind playing the villain. I don’t have a problem with being the bad girl.”
When it comes to her work, she maintains her age-is-just-a-number outlook. “Beauty is ageless. Pamela Anderson is still working. Jenny McCarthy is still working. And Sara Marie is still working,” she says.
Since HGTV’s TikTok was posted on July 22, the video has received over 40,000 likes and more than 1,300 comments.
“Oh mama this is NOT the house hunters I grew up with,” one commenter said.
Another comment with over 31,000 likes reads: “Oh he needed a place to liiiiiive.”
The video even caught the attention of popular TikTok creator Madison Humphrey, who spoofed the episode in a video posted on Aug. 4.

“I like the fact that Brayden is very dominant. I also like the fact that he’s very big and strong and muscular, but most importantly I love how grounded he keeps me,” Humphrey says in her skit.
“Yeah, she’s hot as f—,” Brayden says. “And she seems immature when I talk to her so it’s not even that big of a deal.”
The spoof garnered a reaction from the official HGTV account, which commented “Stood up and applauded” followed by a clapping hands emoji.
