I’ve known for a while that capri pants are back, but I didn’t really accept it until Hailey Bieber stepped out repping the ’90s staple.
The model wore a sharp pair of capris just yesterday, to grab a late-night bite at hotspot Sushi Park in West Hollywood with Saint Laurent creative director and friend Anthony Vaccarello. And, with her off-duty fit, the model demonstrated how the controversial pants can perfectly fit into our spring wardrobes.
Bieber’s capris were sleek, black, high-waisted, and fitted. They had a chic little slit at the bottom, and the Rhode founder paired them with a casual white tank top—a basic every person has in their closet—and strappy little black heels.
For an airy layer of warmth in the springtime Los Angeles weather, Bieber layered on a breezy light beige trench coat with brown tortoiseshell buttons. She also added on some timeless all-black accessories: a leather tote bag and skinny rectangular sunglasses. She also added some shimmer with an unexpected 1990s accessory: a dangly gold anklet.
The makeup mogul explained her philosophy when it comes to getting dressed during an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2022 cover story. “I get photographed so much that I feel like sometimes I put pressure on myself,” she said at the time. “Even if I’m just throwing on jeans and a T-shirt, I want it to be a dope pair of jeans and a great T-shirt!”
