Hailee Steinfeld heated up The Sinners European premiere red carpet in a fire flames dress on Monday night. During the London event, the multi-hyphenate wore a sheer black flame dress with countless head-turning details, from a butt-baring mesh skirt to dramatic opera gloves that looked like they were on fire.
While posing alongside co-star Michael B. Jordan at the April 14 event, Steinfeld showed off her own version of method dressing in a fiery ode to the film. In a sartorial 180 from her signature classic style, The Marvels actress was a smoke show in a dramatic form-fitting, one-shoulder dress emblazoned with illustrations of flames along the bodice, mesh gloves, and ultra-long train that trailed behind her.

As Steinfeld turned, she showed that the intricate dress was actually made up of two parts: a bodice that laced up in the back like a corset and a matching, see-through skirt layered over a pair of high-waisted black underwear. Her sparkling diamond engagement ring from fiancé Josh Allen was still visible underneath the glove on her left hand.

Steinfeld styled her shoulder-length brown lob into a sleek, center-parted style with a retro flip at the ends. Meanwhile, she leaned into the fiery theme for her makeup by smoking out her eyeshadow into a smudged slate gray hue. Black eyeliner, matte berry lips, and matching blush finished off her premiere look.

Steinfeld posed solo on the red carpet, as her Buffalo Bills quarterback beau—who popped the question in November—didn’t make an appearance at the London event. The actress recently revealed that wedding planning has been put on the backburner as she focuses on The Sinners press circuit.
“We are in the middle of a press tour. We got a movie coming out in 12 days? Six, something. We’re focused on that,” she told ExtraTV during an April 7 interview.
