Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is calling out her ex-husband Ryan Scott Anderson for sharing their private messages, saying she thought the texts between the pair were “sacred.”
In an emotional TikTok video shared on Monday, May 5, Blanchard, 33, appeared to reference some texts that she’d sent her ex in January of this year, a couple of weeks after welcoming her daughter, Aurora, with boyfriend Ken Urker.
Anderson recently posted a grab of the messages on TikTok, which appeared to show Blanchard admitting, “I feel lost. Like I don’t know what is real anymore,” after questioning whether he was “with Amber J,” seemingly referencing the content creator.
“I speak the Truth…always have. Only be real…” Anderson captioned the post.
Blanchard began in her clip this week, “This video is going to be for Ryan Anderson, and if you’re not Ryan Anderson, then keep scrolling… but I know y’all watch, and that’s okay, but this video is not for y’all, it’s for him.”

She said it had been around three months since they’d texted, acknowledging that it’s probably been “really hard” for Anderson watching her show Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.
“Whenever you put out text messages between you and I that I think are sacred … When I mean sacred, I mean that, there are very few people I trust in this world. I have always counted you as one of them,” she said.
“I reached out to you when I was two weeks postpartum and I didn’t know how to handle my emotions, I’d just had a baby, my literal whole life changed in an instant,” Blanchard continued.
“I don’t regret having Aurora, she’s the best thing that ever happened to me. But, I leaned on you… because I trust you,” she shared, adding that she “vented” to Anderson when she “felt distant” from Urker in the first weeks after having Aurora.

“I told you everything that was on my heart and in my head,” she said. “I thought that that was gonna stay between us, did I tell Ken? Eventually I did. But I never aimed to hurt you.”
Blanchard and Anderson tied the knot in July 2022 while she was in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in connection with her mother Dee Dee Blanchard’s death. Blanchard and her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn plotted to kill Dee Dee in 2015.
She was released from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri in December 2023 after serving more than eight years behind bars. Blanchard then announced her and Anderson’s split three months later, in March 2024, and she filed for divorce the following month. The divorce was finalized in December 2024.

Elsewhere in her TikTok video, Blanchard claimed that Anderson has his “TikTok personality” and “the real Ryan Anderson,” insisting they’re “two completely different people.”
“When I see you on TikTok, acting the way you do, talking the way you do … that’s not the man that I married,” she continued of her ex, who is a Louisiana middle school special education teacher.
Getting emotional, she said, “It’s so hard to see what you have become,” later saying through tears, “I just want the best for you. I want you to be happy. I want you to move on. I want you to move on with someone that’s going to make you happy, that’s going to love you like you should be loved.”

Blanchard told Anderson, “I always said Ken is my love, but you were my comfort. You were my safe place because I knew that you never would hurt me. And I’m just tired of this war and I want it to end,” insisting that she “can’t keep texting” and talking to her ex.
“As long as I keep talking to you, you feel some sort of connection. But that can’t be. We can’t do that. We’re not at that space,” she said.
“All I could do is wish you the best, and I know that is finite and definite. I know this is all sinking in —that it’s really the end now — but you will always have a place in my heart and we will always have those good memories together,” Blanchard told her former husband, repeatedly apologizing for the way things have played out.
