In celebration of Mother’s Day, singer Gwen Stefani shared a glimpse into her family life with her fans.
On May 11, Stefani took to her Instagram account to share several pictures, featuring her mother, Patti Flynn, and her three sons, Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11, fathered by her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, as reported by People magazine. Stefani spotlighted her mother in the first four pictures. In the fifth photo, Flynn posed with her daughter and two of her grandsons. The sixth slide showed Stefani taking a mirror selfie while pregnant with one of her children. The last slides featured more pictures of her three sons throughout their childhood.

Several fans flocked to the comments section to share that they appreciated Stefani’s Mother’s Day upload.

Stefani, who has been married to fellow singer Blake Shelton since 2021, opened up about being a working mother in a September 2023 interview with People magazine. She explained that she went on a 120-show world tour when Kingston was just 9 months old.
“I would have to nurse and then come on stage,” said Stefani to the publication.
She said she also went on tour when Zuma was under a year old. Stefani said that while she was grateful that she was able to tour as a popular musician, she had difficulty balancing her home life with young children.
“If I could say I regretted something, I would say that I wish I could have divided it. Because that time is so precious,” said Stefani during the interview. “But at the same time, it was happening then, and you know, I was grateful for all of it. It just all came at one time. So I think the thing is that I was blessed to be able to have three boys and have three completely different experiences.”
Stefani said she is now fulfilling her goal of being home for her children during their teenage years. She said she is able to work when her sons are with their father.
Stefani discussed her 2016 divorce from Rossdale, whom she wed in 2002, during a November 2024 interview with Z100 New York. She said that she did not know what her life would look like following her split from her ex-husband.
“Here I am 20 years into my life and love, and I have to pick up the pieces and to see what that dream’s going to look like,” said Stefani during the November 2024 interview.
She then assured that eventually “the body heals [and] the heart heals.”
