  • Guy Fieri’s son Hunter just received his MBA

  • The Food Network star praised his son’s “hard work and determination” in an Instagram post

  • Guy previously said he does not plan on leaving his sons money unless they get two degrees

Hunter Fieri just accomplished a major goal: getting his MBA.

In an Instagram carousel posted on Thursday, May 8, Guy Fieri shared highlights from his older son’s graduation ceremony at the University of Miami. In the first snap, Hunter, 28, smiles in his cap and gown alongside his dad and mom, Lori Fieri.

“I have so many blessings in my life, but the biggest and most important always revolve around my family,” he wrote.

“Hard work and determination!” the Food Network star went on, noting that his son’s other projects have included working on their Hunt & Ryde wine company and shooting multiple shows.

“The Road to success!!” he added. “So proud of you HUNTER.”

Several celebrity chefs offered their own congratulations in the comments, including Gordon Ramsay, Rocco DiSpirito and Stephanie Izard.

In a separate post, Hunter shared footage of himself receiving his degree, writing, “Graduated with my MBA from the University of Miami today—while building a future, planning a wedding, and chasing big dreams.”

On his Instagram Stories, Hunter gave a shoutout to fiancée Tara Bernstein, writing, “My biggest supporter always keeping me going.”

The pair, who got engaged on Thanksgiving in 2023, are set to tie the knot at Guy’s Northern California home later this year.

Guy is also dad to Ryder, 19, and helped raise his late sister Morgan’s son Jules, 26, since her death in 2011

The Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host previously revealed that he does not plan on leaving his sons money unless they get two degrees.

During an interview with PEOPLE in February, Guy opened up about filming Tournament of Champions alongside Hunter, who interviews the winning chefs backstage on the competition series.

“My sons are my best friends,” he said. “My wife has been an incredible partner in life and the way we raised our kids. But Hunter’s doing really good on TV. He continues to gain confidence. My youngest son Ryder’s in college in San Diego, so he makes it in once in a while. But Hunter’s doing a great job.”

Guy, who’s hosted Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives since 2007, could even see Hunter stepping into his shoes on the series.

“I don’t know that I’ll do Triple D forever,” he said. “Maybe he’ll take it over. We’ll see. But it’s pretty great.”
