It’s hard to do anything but laugh after seeing actor Chris Carmack’s wife‘s latest gag, which left the Grey’s Anatomystar completely dumbfounded. And his reaction is pure comedy gold.

Chris Carmack may be a professional actor, but his wife Erin just gave a performance worthy of its own Emmy. Those ultra-realistic “raw burger patties” made of pink Rice Krispies Treats appeared authentic, right down to the color and packaging. Chris even commented on how good the faux Wagyu beef looked before Erin casually slapped one on a bun and took a big bite.

Cue the look of sheer horror. Chris’s face said it all; his jaw dropped, his eyes widened, and then came the hilarious line: “You could’ve eaten a peanut butter bar!”
Understandably, his confusion turned to concern when Erin offered a bite to their kids, and those dad instincts kicked in fast. After all, raw ground beef sandwiches should scare anyone! But they were just playing along, with perfect timing.
Fans were howling over the prank, praising Erin’s spot-on delivery and Chris’s dramatic reaction. “He went through all the emotions of grief in that first bite,” @JSederbe joked. @BrittAnne added, “The fact that the kids were in on it makes it that much better!” Another commented, “Guys, I think Erin is the real actor in this relationship.”
